coach backpack

There’s nothing better than a good bag. One with great craftsmanship built to withstand being toted all over the world, a trusted travel buddy. For me, the best bags are backpacks: perfect for traveling, work (hands free shopping!) and day to day activities. So you can imagine how psyched I was to get a designer bag that envelopes all of these qualities, from a little brand called Coach. Maybe you’ve heard of them? ;)

The great thing about my new backpack (aka my new best friend) is that despite being incredibly practical, it does not sacrifice style. Featuring a new turnlock tie detail, the delicate leather tie lends a feminine touch and adds a new element of style to the original metal closure that is part of Coach’s heritage. Adding to the already classic accessory is the rad history behind it! The Coach turnlock dates back to 1964 and was inspired by Coach's very first creative director's convertible car. Charming and nostalgic, the turnlock is an unexpected but suitably functional feature on a classic bag in a new context.

So regardless of whether you're headed for a casual day of shopping or an unexpected journey with destinations unknown, Coach's new selection of turnlock tie styles features optimal drop lengths for easy and comfortable over-the-shoulder wear, and enough room to store and fulfill all of the adventures your mind has dreamed up.

The Turnlock Tie Collection is available now at Coach.com

BANFF OR BUST

One of the most gorgeous places I have ever seen- BANFF, CANADA! I just recently returned from my trip to this beautiful place which was full of chaos, adventures, poutine, long car rides, long nights and beautiful sights.  It was a work trip so it wasn't all fun and games! But I have been so lucky to have travelled with this client all around the world and seen things I would never have seen. #blessed

TO ROME WITH LOVE

Even though I've been to Rome before, it was still one of my favorite places I visited on my European adventure last month. For some reason, Rome feels a little like home to me...maybe because of my half Italian heritage, or maybe because the people are so friendly and welcoming. Not quite sure what it is, but man do I love that city!
