retro

As you probably know by now, I am a huge fan of retro style, so when I found this skirt at Topshop, my immediate thought was to pair it with a turtleneck and booties- so Francoise Hardy!

4th of july editorial

This is a 4th of July inspired editorial that I concepted and styled for The Cult Collective. A retro inspired shoot shot at my family's cabin in Lake Arrowhead, celebrating independence and being a free woman, hence the "un femme libre" shirt.

un femme libre

Is anyone else STOKED that Mercury just went out of retrograde last Thursday?  It caused a lot of shit to haywire for me this last month and made me feel a bit lopsided and out of control. However, I am starting to think it was a blessing in disguise. Despite the unfortunate events, I picked myself up rather quickly and put myself together again. Which reminded me of how strong I am, and always have been. A good little reminder from the universe. I am finally starting to feel like a free woman, hence the "un femme libre shirt." Free of self loathing, negative thoughts and a lack of confidence I have carried with me throughout my 28 years. And let me tell you, there's no better feeling than finally coming into your own. :)

Did a editorial collab with an amazing photographer Liza Boone where we went for a retro vibe (of course) and I am more than in love with the way the images came out! More exciting projects to come! xx

stagecoach

Loving country music is a bit new to me. It was brought on by starting to listen to Taylor Swift a few years back and she became my gateway drug into the country scene. So two weekends ago I ventured to Stagecoach and it was unlike any other festival I have ever been to! So much music, so much BEER and so much fun! :)

vintage suede skirt

Been very into retro style lately, so I was stoked when I scored this vintage suede skirt at my favorite vintage shop here in Silverlake, Painted Bird. And it was only $17! Winning!! Check them out if you're ever in town, their vintage selection is curated very well and sold at amazing prices!
