I hate to go all girl power on y'all with that Sex & The City quote, but I have always been a firm believer in keeping my friends a priority over boys. My Valentine's Day this year will consist of me and my lady friends dressing up and drinking mimosas alllll niiiight lonnng, and I wouldn't have it any other way! Cheers to all my single ladies!

Though I was never a huge fan of turtleneck sweaters, they are definitely growing on me this year- I mean just look at the inspiration photos of some seriously awesome ladies rockin' the style!
 This Topshop sweater is completely drool worthy and there are so many different ways to wear it. For the outfits above, just throw on a handy coat (this coat would go great with all looks) and tights for those in cold weather and you're all set!

BAROQUE TREND

Balmain has always been a fave of mine and the Fall 2012 collection is insane with its' baroque prints and influences (note the trend board is all Balmain). In college I had a themed fashion project nearly every week, and the baroque era always seemed to be my first pick as I loved how it could so easily translate to fashion. Needless to say, I'm pretty jazzed that it is one of the biggest trends this Fall!

I put this hypothetical outfit together based off of the Markus Lupfer tee with the sultry red lips on 'em. Those lips are said to be those of the gorgeous Lara Stone, so of course she was included in my inspiration collage. That pout is perfection!
