LEATHER + FRINGE

Leather jackets are my thang, and like shoes, I strongly believe that a girl can never have too many! This Mango leather jacket is the most recent addition to the plethora of bad ass jackets hanging in my closet. You'll be seeing lots of it in my upcoming posts, because I literally can't stop wearing it. It fits so well and the gold zippers are perfection. Gold and black is a winning combo in my eyes. I paired it with my Zara fringe skirt (that I scored on sale for $30 a while back!) for a bit of a rocker look with a pop of burgundy and studs for added flair. Turned out to be a fun little outfit to rock for drinks with mah guuurls.

I'm a bad blogger, I barely took any pics during my NY trip this past weekend. Oopsies. I did manage to slip away for a minute and snap some pics on the rooftop of the apartment we were staying at in the Lower East Side though! It was such a good time to be in NY- connected with old friends, made new friends, and was in awe of the energy and endless inspiration all over the city- it's always so hard to leave!

PRINTED SKIRT

 

This printed skirt from H&M is pretty rad, right? A little classy for my taste- but that's why I added the spiked Giovanni shoes that can pretty much make any outfit cooler and more my style! I'm headed to NYC next week (so freakin' excited!!!) and I want to bring this skirt along. Wondering if I can pull it off with Converse because I sure as hell am not walking around the city in heels! Just can't do it. Hmmmmmm.

Obviously I'm a fan of lip prints on clothes (hence the tank by Truly Madly Deeply in my most recent outfit post). I put this hypothetical outfit together based off of the Markus Lupfer tee with the sultry red lips on 'em. Those lips are said to be those of the gorgeous Lara Stone, so of course she was included in my inspiration collage. That pout is perfection!
