SIMPLE

Nothin' better than a striped crop top and high waisted short shorts for a casual Spring look! Easy and comfortable outfits have been necessary lately as I've been running around like a maniac getting everything together to leave for Europe this week (omg omg omg). There are no words to describe how excited I am to head back to that glorious continent! Even when I had a major "when it rains it pours" moment last week...my computer AND my phone broke within 4 days! Although I definitely had a self-pity/hating the universe moment, I got back up and reminded myself that shit happens, it's only a minor problem to be solved and that I have another amazing summer full of travels, adventures and experiences to look forward to. It made me think of that Jack Kerouac quote "Be in love with your life, every minute of it." Shouldn't be wasting time being angry over the little things when there's so much to look forward to and love about life.  AM-I-RIGHT? ;)

RETRO VIBES

Always been a fan of some retro vibes and this Whitney Eve top went perfectly with the retro aesthetic I was going for! Was feeling quite spring-y and polka dot-y and had fun shooting in front of this adorable pale pink house that is literally around the corner from my abode. So much cute-ness in Silverlake! 

I also used this house as a backdrop for a shoot I styled yesterday, which I can't wait to share- it's going to be a good one! Will be posting some BTS pics on instagram, so be sure to follow!

CALI GURL

Here I am, basking in the never-ending sunshine in my new favorite sunnies from Pixie Market, lovin' life. Been M.I.A. from blogging recently as I've had back-to-back jobs that were quite time consuming! Nonetheless, so happy to be working so much since the freelance life can be tough. With the work sched, it's been difficult to get out of LA, and as much as I enjoy this city it's a MUST to get out every once and a while. Girl is itchin' for some travel adventures! Luckily, I have a fun work trip ahead, followed by a European vacay with my boo! Can't be all work and no play ;) 

Gotta have balance and make time to live life. Xx
